I hope this letter finds you well as we are winding down from a busy summer. In August, your executive board along with many other members from Michigan attended the 63rd Biennial National FOP Conference in Nashville Tennessee. At the conference, Police Officer and FOP Member Betty Shelby took the microphone to explain something very important to us. You may not recognize the name Betty Shelby, but her story is similar to Darren Wilson, Bryan Mason, Daniel Pantaleo, Brian Rice, Ceaser Goodson, William Porter, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller, and Alicia White.
